1. Introduction
Wirepay Solutions LLP (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the DHAN mobile application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use DHAN.
2. Information We Collect
- Phone number — used for account creation via OTP. Never shared with third parties for marketing.
- Notification metadata — sender app name, timestamp, and demand-related keywords extracted from gig platform notifications. We do NOT read message content.
- Location (approximate) — city-level location to match demand zones. We do not store precise GPS coordinates.
- Income events — amounts and timestamps of ride/delivery completions reported by you, used to calculate EWA eligibility.
- Device identifiers — Firebase installation ID for push notification delivery only.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Generate personalised demand tips using AI inference on aggregated, anonymised data.
- Calculate and process Earned Wage Access (EWA) payouts via Razorpay X to your registered UPI ID.
- Send push notifications for upcoming demand surges in your area.
- Improve prediction accuracy through aggregated, anonymised feedback.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with:
- Supabase — database hosting (EU region). Bound by their DPA.
- Razorpay — UPI payout processing. Your UPI ID is transmitted solely for payout execution.
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and push notifications.
- Anthropic — AI inference for tip generation. No personally identifiable data is sent to Anthropic.
We do not sell your data. Ever.
5. Data Retention
Notification signals are retained for 14 days then automatically purged. Income events are retained for 90 days for EWA audit purposes. You may request full account deletion at any time.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hi@dhan.cash. We will respond within 7 business days.
7. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production databases is restricted to authenticated services via Row Level Security (RLS) policies enforced at the database layer.
8. Children
DHAN is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
